YING 2.0 beta Launch : Our Beloved Community-inspired mural installation at Germantown Espresso Bar

January 17 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Our Beloved Community, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. often referred to, is a community in which everyone is cared for, absent of poverty, hunger, and hate.

The YING mission is to unlock community capital as a measureable and valuable form of currency. When skills and resources are more accessable to ALL, regardless of ones skin color, education level, network, or networth, we are able to collectively achieve more as one Beloved Community.

We will take this MLK day to gather in appreciation and gratitude for the progress we’ve made and make our vision clear for where we intend to go. YING founder, Karla Ballard, will be launching the YING 2.0 beta app and celebrating the development and growth of the Group Skillsharing Movement in her very own hometown of Germantown and we couldn’t be prouder!

We will be sharing a beautiful MLK inspired mural installation by Marco Santini and Alison Dilworth. Performances by local Germantown artists will follow.

IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19 cases increasing, we want to keep everyone as safe as possible. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and recover! We’ll stream live via Instagram and Facebook so you can still tune in. The event will be held outdoors and we will ask that guests wear a mask. We will also have sanitizer and immune system booster goodie bags for you to take home 🙂
